knittingmumma
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone can suggest a more affordable means for car hire rather than using Thrifty or one of the major rental companies. Im coming up in October to stay with relatives in the Sunshine Coast and need to do frequent trips down to Brisbane for house viewings (i hope) etc. We came a couple of weeks ago and the car hire was very expensive. If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative it would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance
Skippy1
Try Apex at Brisbane Airport we found them ok to deal with and price was ok. Check your spare tyre as they tried to charge us for a damaged one when we returned the car. Needless to say we had not checked or used ours but they eventually paid back the money they deducted for this. you can book direct on their website. They pick you up at the airport and take you to the depot nearby brisbane@apexrentals.com.au
snaik
We used APEX too. Had no problems with them and they were def cheapest around at the time.
Xenon4017
There are several companies that operate just outside the airport which are cheaper. They have shuttle buses to pick you up and drop you off. I think you can pick up a car for 30$ a day. Does that sound expensive?
calNgary
Companys like East Coast Car rentals and Brisbane rent a car are normally a tad cheaper as they are located just outside the airport and collect you from the terminal and take you to their depot.
