rgp72 Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Hey guys, after receiving our 189 grant on Friday the manic sorting had begun! I have a question for the tradies among us. We a looking at a leaving date of the 27th October, but our household items will have left a couple of weeks previous. Does anyone know if there are restrictions or special conditions for taking hand tools as luggage. There is going to be a fair gap between arriving and the landing of all our gear. I'm a plumber so there is only going to be a couple of pairs of Stillsons, shifters, pipe cutters etc, just enough to get me going on site rather than buying loads of new stuff and looking like the new 'pommie apprentice'! i'm aware there will be weight restrictions but we should have extra luggage allowance through Emirates/ANZ.
