We previously lived in Queensland on my partners 457 visa (diesel fitter) but returned to UK 18 months ago due to ill health. We have been considering a move back for sometime now and feel it would be better for us and our children. I wish wed never left but hey ho you don't find that out until you do it! We can definitely see the benefits of being over there now. We were hoping to go on a 457 but have been told that the government aren't issuing them at the moment. FOL Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 I hope I will be in the same boat as you in two months. Originally we left Oz, because I was homesick. My girlfrien wanted to stay. Now I want to go back and she doesn't want to... I feel so bad for making 1 mistake and feel we miss out on so much... Sigh. oh well good luck going back to Oz! Keep us posted.
