I'm from the UK and finding it daunting to get the best price considering the comparisons aren't terribly easy to put together. STA are more than happy to take my money but i can't help the feeling that I'd be paying a premium for the convenience factor and as you all know, every pound spent in the UK could be a couple much needed dollars in Aus. Guest Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 Agree with Pumpkin. Apply direct. You only need the visa. Don't pay a company, they are not worth it IMHO. All the other things you need to do are simple enough. Book your flight, TFN when you arrive in Aus, open an account before you leave or when you arrive, set up a way to transfer your money, get your insurance (shop around), accommodation for the first couple of weeks to get you going.
