MARYROSE02
I've been going up there for about the last seven Mondays, not counting two off when I had my op. Best steak I've had, usually a thick small one with not a grain of gristle, and served with salad and chips. Got some good beers - Grifter was the one I had last night, a bit dear at $7 per schooner, but one of my favourites. The pub has an open fire which is unusual now in Sydney. You should see the toilets too. COMPLETELY covered in grafitti, urinals, walls, sinks, mirrors, but it's spotless, always has soap and towels. A pale ale with an explosive hop bitterness & aroma thanks to the use of all Australian grown hops - Topaz & Galaxy. It's golden haze appearance is due to being completely unfiltered leaving you with an ale of wholesome character. A clean American yeast STRAIN and A subtle yet sturdy malt backing giveS this beer the depth it needs to balance A HEALTHY DOSE of hops
