sathyajithsr
Hi, I am an Electrical Engineer (Electrical Engineer - 233311) planning to migrate to Australia. In order to prove my experience, I am collecting my Employer Reference Letters. However my current employer refuses to issue a letter addressed to "Whome it may concern". In this circumstance, to whome I should address the letter? It’s better if I could address that to Engineers Australia. Because if I address the letter to Department of Immigration or something like that, it will be exposed to my employer that I am planning to migrate, which will not be a good thing for my career. Guest The Pom Queen
Could you ask them to address it to yourself?
Cissi
I'm not sure if it's less subtle to have the letter addressed to Engineers Australia, if you're based outside of Australia!
sathyajithsr
Hi Pom and Cissi, Thank you for your replies. I consulted my agent regarding this and he advised me to address the letter to the Immigration Department or to Engineers Australia. So I got it addressed to Engineers Australia. Let's see what happens
