  1. Thanks for your reply mate. Agent says this is the very first time they came across this kind of a situation. don't know true or lie
  2. Thanks for your reply stevie. totally agree with you. my agent is now behaving like this is a fault of me. I checked with the bank. they say the amount has been transferred. This is simply ae error made by the agent while online application. Now I am trying to contact DIBP to resolve this. we'll see...
  3. Hi all, Today my agent has tried to lodge my 189 visa. Agent said visa was not lodged an an error message came saying "Insufficient Fund". However there was sufficient credit in the card and I got two alerts from my bank. First one saying the amount was authenticated and the second one saying the amount was declined. I spoke to the bank and they said the amount has been credited at the first attempt and then it has been a second attempt to the same amount which has been declined due to insufficient funds. At the end of the day my agent says she couldn't lodge the application and my status of EOI is still "invited" and the EOI is not freezed as well. As today and tomorrow are holidays in Australia, my agent says she cannot contact DIAC. I afraid I will lost my money or happen to subject to any fee increments if I couldn't lodge the application on or before 30th June. Can anyone please help me to come out from this situation?
  4. Hi Pom and Cissi, Thank you for your replies. I consulted my agent regarding this and he advised me to address the letter to the Immigration Department or to Engineers Australia. So I got it addressed to Engineers Australia. Let's see what happens
  5. Hi guys, I have lodged my EOI for 189, on 9th June 2014 with 60 points. My occupation category is Electrical Engineer - 233311. Can anybody tell me a tentative date for the invitation?
  6. Hi, I have lodged my EOI for 189, on 9th June 2014 late night with 60 points. My occupation category is Electrical Engineer - 233311. Can anybody tell me a tentative date for the invitation?
  7. Hi, I am an Electrical Engineer (Electrical Engineer - 233311) planning to migrate to Australia. In order to prove my experience, I am collecting my Employer Reference Letters. However my current employer refuses to issue a letter addressed to "Whome it may concern". In this circumstance, to whome I should address the letter? It’s better if I could address that to Engineers Australia. Because if I address the letter to Department of Immigration or something like that, it will be exposed to my employer that I am planning to migrate, which will not be a good thing for my career.
  8. Thank you Grey. In fact my agent played some fool stuff previously and now I can't trust him very much. So I happen to double check everything before procede
  9. Hi friends, Need a help to clarify something. I am proceding my skilled migration Australia under the category Electrical Engineer - 233311. I have got a positive outcome for my CDR. However I have never assessed my work experience at EA as I had not completed 3 years by the time I was submitting the CDR. Now I have completed 3years and planning to claim points for that. My agent says no need of assessing the work experience at EA and I can claim points by just updating it on my EOI. I am in a doubt about that. Is my agent correct?
  10. I contacted Engineers Australia regarding this and their response was, ""It's an optional assessment. However if you wish to claim points for work experience it's advisable to do it." why don't you too contact them and share the response dear friend?
