Everyone has to have lived in Australia for 10 years before they can claim the Age Pension. Makes no difference whether you're on a PR visa or are a citizen.

 

The only thing that might assist you is if you spent time living in a country which has Social Security agreements with Australia. Check the list here - http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/enablers/centrelink/international-social-security-agreements/countries-that-have-agreements-with-australia .

 

The UK is not on that list so if you came from the UK, then you have to live in Australia for the whole 10 years before you're eligible.
