Below are my details Age - 29 Marital Status - Married Total IT Experience - 8 Years as a System Administrator Education - BS in Information Systems( BITS PILANI through Distance mode while I am working in India ) I would like to know whether I will be able to claim points for immigration with my distance mode degree. Ozmaniac Posted April 19, 2014 Share Posted April 19, 2014 I don't know if a distance degree is acceptable (though it could well be if it was with a reputable educational institution) but if you check the Australian Computer Society (ACS) skills assessment guidelines, you will see that you will require a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience before being considered to have met the Skill Level Requirement.
