webber4 Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any info or advice on the 187 visa. (2 adults, 2 Children) We have been looking to move for around 18 month but when the new SOL came out in October Project Administrator had been removed so i couldnt apply. Looking at the CSOL it still has Customer Service Administrator on there for SA ( i did this for several years) and is available on a 186, 187, skill select and 457. after going over them i think the 187 is what we may need but im unsure, with the 187 how long before we can apply for permenant residency, how long do i have to stay in that occupation and what happens if the position is made redundant? blossom Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 The 187 you need an employer to sponsor you and you are tied to that job for two years. It is going to be near impossible to find an employer to sponsor you for that role from outside oz, especially if you haven't done it for a while.
