My parents moved out here nearly 3 years ago and me and my partner followed! We've settle in the ACT, have good jobs and a great standard of life! I can't see us leaving any time soon!! However, one thing I do find difficult is meeting people here in Canberra! From having a large group of friends back home in the UK to just a handful here! If anyone has any suggestions of groups/sporting teams etc I would be grateful! I guess it all depends where your interests lie. I'd be hanging around Uni type activities otherwise Canberra is a bit dead for the tweenies (between Uni and family).
