Elias
It seems NT had a strong jobs market with allot of vacancies, is this still the case? We are two adults and were originally looking at ACT, but quite like the idea of Darwin now. I am working in IT and my wife is an accountant. I've registered on the territory gov site but that appears to just make my cv available to agencies rather than listing jobs
Rupert
I wouldn't have thought Canberra or Darwin would have a lot of demand in your professions. Realistically you would do a lot better in Sydney or Melbourne.
minhpupil
Hi all, Firstly, thanks a lot for your attention to my post. I am a Mechanical Engineer with a Positive Skill assessment from Australian Engineer. I have just received the Reagional State Sponsorship ( Visa 489) from NT so I would like to seek your expertise about the job demand at NT for MEchanical engineer. In the mean time, I also would like to explore whether there is any manual occupation such as waiter, cleaner, mover, etc. that I can prepare to get a temporary employability at NT for the first few months there? Once again, thanks a lot for your strong support. I really appreciate it.
charusingh
Can anyone please guide as to how to avoid rejection of nt sponsorship. The feedback that nt is pretty rigid in giving its nomination has been much of a stress :chatterbox: Much thanks
