Yay
Hi - I hope someone can help with this question as I've done a search but can't find the answer I'm looking for. I am on a 100 partner visa and my husband and I moved to Brisbane in October 2013, and on the 1 January 2014 we had a lovely baby boy! I've emailed the High Commission in London to let them know this change to my circumstances, and I just wondered was that the right thing to do? Not sure if this is relevant but for info, once my visa was granted in Sept 2012, my initial entry date was set as April 2013, and I visited Australia in December 2012. thanks for your help! Congratulations. To be honest, I don't think the High Commission would care though. Your son would now be an Australian citizen by birth..
lebourvellec
You are on PR visa and the child would have been Australian citizen at birth born in Australia. You really don't need to do anything. Congratulations
