wannabnoz
Hi all, Just wondered if anyone here know's, we are hoping to move over to Mandurah on a 489 state sponsor visa next year, I know we have to live in certain area's for 2 years and work there for one, but does the working part mean both of us or just my partner (the main applicant)? Sorry if this question has been asked before. Thanks in advance
lebourvellec
All applicants granted a 489 are required to comply to the conditions of the visa. 489 state nominated will have the 8539 condition. by not complying to the conditions of the 489, your PR will be refused. 8539 - Regional study and work only While the holder is in Australia, the holder must live, study and work only in an area specified by the Minister in an instrument in writing for item 6A1001 of Schedule 6A, as in force: (a) when the visa was granted; or (b) if the holder has held more than 1 visa that is subject to this condition - when the first of those visas was granted.
