It says "NSW is pleased to announce that program targets for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) have been met for the 2013/14 financial year." but then it also says that " Applications received before 24 December 2013 will be processed as normal.". Does this mean that the application lodge before 24 December, not assigned to case officer will also be on hold until they re-open state sponsorship in July 2014. I have lodged my application on 15th November, 2013 and my file is yet to be assigned to a case officer. Since they say that they have met the target for 2013/2014 will my application be on hold until July 2014 ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Either way,they will process those applications and you should be fine if you have already received a sponsorship and have lodged for visa. Hi Dianak, I havent received a sponsorship yet.. last time I called they said that they are processing files lodged on 16th October, then they were so please to announce that the sponsorship is closed from 24th December. I've applied for sponsorship on 15th November, havent heard anything from them. I'm not sure if my file is on hold till July 2014. If so then I'm screwed... You lodged yours on 15th of November. I lodged mine NSW 190 on 11th of November and also got similar date for processing files. As I got invited for 189 on 2nd of December I cannot provide further update on my 190 application but may be you can call NSW application team and ask them directly. After finishing day 1 of Nov-13, they wud go for day to...however, it depends on the profession too, if it falls into pro-rata basis, then it might take little bit longer...What is your profession?? I applied on 4th dec and got ack email in which they are processing october applications and 1 week before I called them, they replied me they are processing October applications.
