smiffs
Hi all Need your advice , we are considering on living in Brentwood area or Chase estate in Berwick . We would like to know anything there is to know about this area, good and most definitely bad. We would intend on sending the kids to Kambrya Sec sch and Brentwood primary schools. We have been in and spoken to both schools and our two kids have been invited to go to the orientation days next week. Where we can have a tour and they can get a feeling for the schools . If you can give me any advice on the schools that would be appreciated too. so far driving around area in day and at night it all seems good and the rental prices are ok, but there maybe something we are missing . Please help.
Petals
Hi, I do not live in Berwick so cannot help you with specifics other than to say check out the internet cover before renting as there are parts where it can be a problem. If you have not already joined, join up with the Life in Victoria forum, there is a link at the foot of this one. People from the area will be able to help you there. Good luck
starlight7
I have heard that Berwick is a pretty good area these days. I have also heard that Kambrya SC is not so good- but only hearsay. The person who spoke to me said the teachers were poor and discipline not good. But that was just one person.
Joan Ann Powell
Hi Smiffs, I can only tell you one thing about Berwick, which always used to seem a nice place when we travelled through it. If the wind is coming from the E/SE you will get the pong from the power station at Yallourn. JAP
