AS Starzs
Hello All, I am new to this forum and wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me with a quick question. I am ready to submit my 189 application after receiving an invitation recently. The fees for me, my husband and baby totals $6160 so that should be around GBP3500 but the visa calculator is coming up at nearly £1000 more. I was wondering if anyone had submitted an application recently and what the exchange rate was. I don't want to go over my credit card limit and this visa process is expensive enough without having to fork out an additional £1K that I never expected so I am hoping this is an error on the site. Do they not just charge the fee in AUD and my card provider decides the exchange rate? Thanks so much in advance for your help!!

AS Starzs
Thank you so much - I really was worried about this. That seems a lot more realistic Weight off my mind, will submit tonight. Thanks again x
zoiphia
The exchange rate is really good at the mo so its the best time to be doing it x
nikkiwd
your credit card provider will use their own exchange rate so ignore the immi price. You can ring the card issuer to find out what their current exchange rate is or look on their website.

AS Starzs
I did assume this, but you know what they say about assumption. Thanks for your response and yes, would be great if you could answer Zoiphia's question out of curiosity for my own timeline...even though I know its state sponsored. Thanks!!
