Also we haven't attached any documents (passports, birth certificates, ielts etc) to the visa application yet, how long do we have to do this? Worried we shouldn't have applied and paid before all the paperwork was ready to attach at the same time. Thanks in advance. geordiegirl68 Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Hi, Don't worry, When you are assigned a case officer, he/she will request documentation, and meds etc. So unless you're in a real hurry, I would just wait until requested. Another quick one, when I log on to my application, for my wife it asks me to upload a skills assessment but I'm not claiming any points for her skills, is this just standard across all applications and you just ignore if not applicable? All my husband had to do was prove he was an English speaker and attend a medical! I can't see it being at all relevant if you haven't claimed anything for her! As I said. Your CO will decide what further info is required! There are more expert people on here, who will know more, and help I'm sure! All the best.
