DonnaBB
Hi. Does anyone have any recommendations of companies in Melbourne who hires out white goods for a few weeks? We are looking to hire a small fridge for a few weeks. There seem to be quite a few companies when I do a google search but was wondering if anyone had any personal experience. Thanks in advance. calNgary
Not sure about Melbourne but in Brisbane is was hard to rent stuff for a few weeks without paying an absolute fortune, most places wanted you to keep it for a few months. Have you thought of buying a second hand one off gumtree or Ebay ?It worked for us and we use it in the patio in summer for drinks and at xmas for the extra food. Guest The Pom Queen
Hi Donna To be honest you would be better picking one up 2nd hand somewhere. A lot of my clients use to use Mr Rentals but they charged $50 delivery and a $50 pick up so that was $100 to start http://www.mrrental.com.au/delivery-areas/region/melbourne plus they will stitch you up for higher rental costs if it's only for a short period. DonnaBB
Hmmm... That's good to know, thanks. Our stuff is being shipped back at the start of December but we won't be leaving till January. So, was wondering whether to not ship our fridge freezer or to hire one

Fantastic. Didn't know that. Is there often a lot of decent stuff on there (e.g. furniture / white goods)?
