JEM44
Hi, I need help please! I am just uploading my document for our 190 visa application and I am stuck on the character reference / police checks. the notes sections says: More information and country-specific instructions on how to obtain a police clearance is included in the attached document Form Character Requirements Penal Clearance Certificates - however I can't find this form or any information on what to do if we are from the UK, there is only the Federal police site. is it them who do our checks? Any help or advice appreciated. I am so totally amazed at how slow and complicated this process is!!! Thanks Laura

JEM44
That's great thank you. Do you know if I have to have a check done for my children (aged 11 and 13) their application asks for it as recommended, but it also asks for evidence of their marital status so I'm not sure what to go on? JEM44
Thanks for that, I have printed off the forms for myself and hubby. Saving £40 each on the kids seems to pale into insignificance now in light of the £1000 for four medical checks... gasp
GilraenH
Been there Leah, and so glad that my eldest is 15. Fingers crossed for you. Application asks for everything, but I only produced birth cert and passport, as well as age appropriate medical.
