rossco2810
Hi, We are looking at moving in around 15 months & trying to work out budget costs just now - so we know whether its beans on toast for 15 months or just toast!! What is a budget figure for a small domestic cat travelling from Scotland to Adelaide? Presumably we can stipulate which centre she would go to? How much would the internal flight / transfer from Quarantine centre to Airport cost? Any help would be much appreciated. Ross
BobPetairUK
Hey Ross. first and most important thing is to plan to do the rabies vaccination and rabies blood sample 6-12 months before you want your cat to travel. Secondly, budget. Here is my top of the head estimate - Rabies vaccination £40, rabies blood sample £100, regular vaccinations £40, Final vet check £75, Permit application £295, flight from Scotland to Melbourne £1200, quarantine fees £700 (including transport from airport to quarantine centre), flight from MEL to Adelaide £250 - Total £2700 approx. as i am sure you can see these are rough prices, but will give you a fair idea of the whole cost.
