Guest The Pom Queen
We had 4 fires this week burning around us (probably more but these were close to home) thankfully the rain came last night and most of the fires are now out. When we moved here I never ever thought you would get fires in a rainforest
flag of convenience
I would have thought wild fires wouldn't have been an issue either. As you say thank goodness for the rain. Something we can never get too much of in most of Australia. Liquid gold from the heavens.
Guest The Pom Queen
It's funny FOC but we end up praying for the rain over here. The locals think it's a lovely day when it's raining not when it's 35 degrees. Those back in the UK must think we make it up.

carlhall
rain.... you got rain..... can you send some down here, not seen any for weeks. We have watched as the storms have passed us by. A friend of mine has had to have water delivered by tanker as his rainwater tanks were empty.... Now he is hoping it rains soon or he will have to arrange another tanker delivery.
