Guest daisydeeds
Just to let you know that we are sitting waiting to hear from Adelaide as all the work has been done that needs to be done for the Visa. We successfully sold our house and most of our belongings are in storage with Crown Removals until such time as we need ship them. We have had a horendously busy time as we were asked for our medicals and xrays only a few days after being allocated our case officer. Our sponsors attended their interview and we packed up our house that we sold as well as moving house into our flat so its been Crazy. Nothing happens for a long long while and then suddenly BOOM we ve had to do everything in a week. We are now in a rented flat within commuting distance for Choobs. The kids arent going back to school next week as it isnt fair for them to start back at school for only a few weeks to be uprooted to Oz. They are at a Holiday Club this week so it is very quiet here. We dont have broadband access as yet so its back to the dulcet tones of dialup for the next few days. How did we manage without a phone line, why with mobiles and library services!! lol. Apologies that we havent been posting very much/at all. We are still very much here although sporatically. We will give you an update as soon as we have heard anything else from Adelaide. Hope everyone is doing fine and its great to hear from mark78 that he is okay and doing well in Oz. Bye just now. Our meds were requested just a little over a fortnight ago but the time has c r a w l e d past. It's been a long process - 16 months more or less - but I don't remember any of it being *this* slow! Still - Real Soon Now Choobs
