Diploma v NVQ

Hi All

 

Any one know which diploma you need as a minimum to be recognised in OZ- I think its level 5 but cant be sure ?

I think it depends on the occupation, in our case nvq level2 is good enough to compare to the required AQF for 'cook' but not for 'chef' which needs at least nvq 3, so like I said it depends on what your occupation is.

An AQF Diploma is equivalent to a UK NVQ level 4 (HNC/HND). If your occupation is a level C occupation than you will need a NVQ Level 4 qualification to pass skills assessment.

Thanks claire, ive much prefer to just increase my NVQ however I have been advised to get a diploma.
