Tickled Pink Posted August 14, 2013 Share Posted August 14, 2013 For us the employer was fantastic and provided flights, relocation costs (which covered shipping and some arrival accommodation), and also paid all visa costs. But sponsors can vary from offering lots to offering nothing at all... In terms of other support, we were asked prior to arrival if we needed anything (white goods etc.), we were given a hamper of stuff to get us started - including things like suncream and Vegemite!! we had an offer to be met and picked up at the airport, and were then subsequently taken to our new place to drop stuff off before being taken out for coffee, and to Woolies to pick up our first bits of food etc for later.
