Karenbfam Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 Hi all. My partner recently had his chest x-ray during his medical and was told all was ok. About 10 days later we received a call to say there was a problem and that they thought he had the remains of an infection. He went to his GP who has given him antibiotics and suggested he has a repeat x ray in 6 weeks. Does this mean presuming this sorts the problem, that his medical will automatically be referred. But if the antibiotics have solved the issue, there shouldnt be any problem on the medical being finalised, referred medicals are taking some time to be assessed by the MOC, last I read was up to 3 months.
