Breathy
Just got our shipment delivered last Monday and tried to use washing machine for first time. No go. Did not seem to have power to begin with and then by pushing front panel, came to life but now gone off again - rang one repairer and he said he did not think Bosch UK machines were the same as Australian? Has anyone else experienced white goods not working due to the transportation.
Celt Down Under
Assume you have checked all the usual stuff, i.e power point working etc. Are you using a plug adaptor from UK to Oz, or have you fitted an Oz plug to it? If an adaptor, try another one. One more simple check to carry out is the lid or, door if a front loader, safety switch striker to make sure that it has not been jarred out of position. My daughter had a similar problem, and that is all that it was. A slight tweak of the striker and away it went. She too was down to banging panels to get it to work, only to have it switching off again. She had a top loader, but it was not a Bosch. If no go, Google Bosch washing machine faults and see what it comes up with. Usually someone else has had the same fault.
