jennyweaver
hi folks I am hoping one of you can give me a time frame, on average, that the authorities in immigration can enforce that we move over once this visa is given. I have an option to redo the IELTS and get more points so I can have the 189 visa but don't see any pitfalls with the 190. Have you any negatives, 189 vs 190? If I have up to a year to move over from the time a 190 is issued I would gladly take that one. many thanks Jen
lebourvellec
Both 189 and 190 have same conditions. only difference is you have an agreement with the sponsoring state to live and work there for 2 years, but this is not a condition of your visa. when the visa is granted should have 12 months from earliest date of medicals or police checks to make first entry to Australia to validate the visa. which can be done by moving or a holiday. visa is valide for 5 years from date of grant.
