CrozierFamily
Hi My mini schnauzer has recently been diagnosed with bladder stones He has to go on a special prescribed diet and I know that I cannot send the food with him as it will be destroyed on arrival. Are there provisions for dogs with special diets in Melbourne quarantine station and if so how do I ensure he gets the correct food for his condition. If they come back he will have to have surgery to get them removed which I really want to avoid. Many thanks
BobPetairUK
Hey Yes you certainly can. either order some off an Australian pet supplies site and get it delivered in or email the quarantine guys and check with them. But you can definitely make sure your dog has the prescription food.
