Mark 1234 Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 Here's the deal. Due to a grave family illness in the UK I have to fly back on Monday. My case for a spouse visa has been ongoing in Melbourne for 15 months now. I have supplied everything required but am waiting for the final penal clearance from a European country I lived in for more than a year. This was applied for two months ago and still hasn't arrived. I spoke to the consulate and they said it will be faxed this week from the Ministry of Justice in that country. If I leave and cannot return to Oz within 3 months, my application is kaput, along with the $4000 I spent on it. My question is: Will DIAC accept this faxed certificate? Even with validation from the consulate that it is bona fide. Thanks in advance.
