employer sponsor gone cold - will diac inform me if employer decided to not go ahead

my employer to be has applied for nomination for me and it has been approved. i have applied for 187 visa 6 months ago. my employer has not answered my last 2 emails ie early feb and last week - if they have decided not to go aheaed they would have to inform DIAc - yes/no? and then would DIAC not have to tell me or wiothdraw my visa application. any advice please

Yes they should inform DIAC, you also have a responsibility to keep DIAC informed. If you believe that your job offer is withdrawn then you need to withdraw your application, however I would recommend you establish the facts first of course.
