zoe1922
Hi I wonder if anyone can give me an idea of the cost to ship our 10 year old cocker spaniel from Birmingham to Perth please. Probably towards the end of this year we will be going. She has had her rabies injection so I believe she would just need the blood test 180 days before? Also she has had her booster injections here within the UK for the last few years without the lepto part as the vets advised me to do that as it could show up on Netherlands blood test? any info/price you could give me would be great please  having looked at some posts on here over the last year or so pet air looks pretty good:wink:
BobPetairUK
Dear Zoe Rough price will be around £1500 for flight ticket and crate or £2500 for all in service (bloods, import permit, export papers, collection, flight ticket and crate) depending on how big tour dog is. This prices does not include quarantine of $1305 AUD. Also, we are not convince Perth is going to re-open, so it may be a case of flying your dog to Sydney and then over to Perth after the 30 days - which will be around £500. I think all in price will be around £3500-£4000 by the time you have paid for everything. If you are going towards the end of this year then please get the rabies blood sample done pretty much now. If you want to chat further then give us a shout, we will help as much as we can. Bob http://www.petairuk.com
Jane66
Hi Bob, to take our dog from Perth to UK, can you clarify what he needs to have injection wise? Also, can he fly on the same flight we fly on? we'd be going Emirates from Perth to Birmingham - is this possible? Can you give me a rough price? He will be around 14 yrs old - do you think it would be too stressful for him? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
BobPetairUK
Dear Jane Your dog cannot go into Birmingham, it has to be either Heathrow or Manchester. He will need a rabies vaccination at least 21 days before the flight and he will be ok as long as he is fit and healthy. I am afraid that we cant fly him back into UK, so you will have to contact a pet shipper in Australia. Petcarriers or Dogtainers are usually the best ones and they will be able to help you either a little bit or a lot depending on what you prefer. Anything else let me know.
