memmymooch
Hi quick question to my nursing colleagues was wondering how much your shift allowances bump up your monthly pay? I have been told by recruiter that basic annual salary -$56k will be increased by around 20% due to the shift bonus but that's assuming you work x amount of night blocks over the year. When I was on the wards here it worked out about £200 extra on day shift and £400 extra on nights in the monthly pay. Would I expect something similar there? Tafflass
Hi, I can tell you what I get in WA (its prob similar to Melbourne). For a late shift I get 15% extra, 50% for a saturday shift and 75% extra for a sunday. A night shift is prob somewhere between 15-50%. Hope this helps Nerys
