memmymooch Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Hi have seen that if you claim family assistance and there is an absent parent you are only entitled to a basic amount until they have persued a claim for maintenance does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this like what happens with parent overseas and what happens if they just get no response from other parent how long before claim is concluded or you just get basic amount forever?
