My Partner and I will be moving to Sydney in August (providing the job is offered and 457 confirmed) this year. I just don't understand how moving works.... I mean, how can we rent somewhere without seeing it, which means what do we do? Turn up in Aus and stay somewhere like a Hostel for a week or two whilst we look around? This place looks good for what we need. We need a residential address to confirm our Aus bank so looking at this it looks like that could be a possibility. Other than that I think I'm going to look at AIRBNB.COM. We currently have our spare room on there and have not had any problems the last 3 years of doing it so have no qualms staying in someones house.
