Irish Lass Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 My sister is in the process of applying for a WHV and is asked on the application form if she has private health insurance, does anyone know if this is a requirement for a WHV or can she just answer no to that question? Guest Posted February 4, 2013 Share Posted February 4, 2013 I don't think you have to. However I would suggest she get it before she goes and a decent package as you never know when you'll need it. Also on a WHV her income might not be great and if she needs dental or medical care for something then she'll at least know she is covered.
