Gerard33
Hi I have a question I spend 5 years of the last 8 in a country where I left without paying a very small Loan - the process over there is to cash the insurance cheque anD if they bounce - they notify the Cops, I have not heard from them(bank) or the police ever in two years and am in the process of seening if I have a record or case against me before I try and get a Letter of good conduct - my question is if I do have a case and can-not get the Certifciate - where does that leave me with my Immigration process with Australia I will be getting a Letter of good contact from 4 other countries I lived in -(no convictions) but one country may have a case against me, so in sort 4 out of the 5 will be fine with one maybe a problem Has anyone experience like mine and what did you do- is it just better to try and explain and be honest to Immigration ? wrussell
Enquiring will not change anything. Sounds as if it could be a civil matter. Get the report and then take appropriate steps. There are numerous posts about character issues on this forum. Edited February 4, 2013 by wrussell
