noodlesom
I'm just a little confused with the 186 ENS process. I have worked with my current employer for around 8 months under both my first and second WHV. The boss has said he is quite happy to sponsor me for the 457 visa. I have already been considering to apply for the Skilled 189 Visa as I like the freedom that the PR will give me. Am I right in assuming that I could go down the 186 ENS route provided my company were happy to do so? It would be under the "The Agreement stream"? This would give me permanent residency? If the company are going to spend around $3k (using an agent) on a 457 for me and if I was then to apply for the 189 Visa whilst on that 457, (cost of around $7k using agent to me, including skills assessment etc.) then it would make more sense to just apply for the 186 ENS in the first place? Any advice or comments greatly appreciated!
