jones
Hi Everyone, For people who are already in Australia/ have already been, did you travel on your own? If so, how did you find it? was it easy to meet new people? did you end up travelling with new people that you met? Thanks.
Guest The Pom Queen
Hi and welcome to the forum, I can't speak for myself but living in Cairns I get chatting to a number of back packers. Most have come out on their own and then got friends with people they share a dorm with at the backpacks and then tend to carry on travelling as a group. nickachu
Hi Everyone, For people who are already in Australia/ have already been, did you travel on your own? Lots of germans who are willing to talk to you and share some beers. If you end up working, there's always the people from work that are keen for socialising. It has it's benefits being on your own, as well as it's problems. Good that you can do what you want when you want, bad that you sometimes can struggle to find people to go for a drink, or the cinema, or the zoo etc... with. I haven't left Brisbane yet so can't comment on the travelling part!
