Guest bernie
Hi Wendy First of all, welcome to PIO!! The answer to your question depends what type of visa you guys are applying for. I am applying for a permanent visa, so I had to go down the route of Vetassess. If you want a bit of info on it, look up 'bernie' under the members list above, and check out the post titled 'we passed vetassess, electrician practical -what to expect' There are other routes that you can go down, such as being sponsored by an employer in Oz. Hope this helps, if you want any more info, let us know. Good luck, bernie

Wendy Robinson
Thanks for your help. Hoping to apply for 176 subclass. Already applied for state sponsorship with victorian government. Just a little confused as to which route to take for skills assessment because looking at both the electrician special class and general electrician OH seems to fall somewhere in the middle:arghh:. Oh well hope the rest isn't as confusing. HEHEHE
