cloclostravels
Hello Lewis, Money is dependent on how long you want to travel before working normally $5000 is advised but $2000+ will do you for a while. Travlling the most popular route backpackers go is the east coast. (Sydney - Cairns) There is lots to do along it from surfing to fraser island to sailing the whit sundays to sky diving and great barrier reef. You will probably not need a car unless you want to travel the coast in a camper van. Australia is a very big country and will take you days to get from one side to the other (without stop offs!) and most citys have brilliant public transport so its very unlikely a car will be needed but I dont think insurance is compulsury here (im unsure). I would recommend start saving your funds and doing a little bit of research but dont stress over it to much until your ready to go!
