For my wife and I its more of a trip to live and work in another city for 12 months as a little adventure, we will be travelling at points during the trip, but not backpacking. I was curious to hear of others experiences finding work on WHV in Sydney, the availability of particular work and the efficiency of agencies out in Australia. I ask as reading through these forums the reviews seem to be mixed. I would personally be looking ideally at office based work, having had experience in recruitment and b2b sales for many years, whilst my wife has a Phd in Ecology and would love to find work in this sector. We both however would more than happily do bar / waiter type work in the short term. We will of course have sufficient funds behind us to tide us over until work comes along but if anyone is able to recommend good agencies etc that would be really helpful.
