Recently i am able to score 7 in IELTS and now I claim 70 points. Can i convert my 175 application into 189 without paying visa fee again? lebourvellec Posted November 5, 2012 Share Posted November 5, 2012 No. As the Skillselect system is different from the old 175 system. You can only change your application from 175 to 176 if you were able to secure State Sponsorship. As as you are 175 applicant in Cat 5, your occupation must be on the CSOL and you need an occupation on SOL 1 to be able to apply for 189 visa.
