TessD
Hi Bob I wonder if you could answer this question for me please. Our cats and dogs had their initial rabies shots and subsequent RNATT carried out in Nov 2011 with a view to travelling to Melbourne this August. Plans have been delayed and we are now definitely travelling Aug '13. Today they all had their rabies boosters and the vet mentioned about the rabies serology test. Do they still have to have another RNATT done in 3 weeks or is the original from last year showing a satisfactory result sufficient as long as boosters are carried out without a gap? You have given us a quote and we will be in touch again in jan/feb to start the process. Many thanks Teresa
BobPetairUK
Teresa They do need to have another rabies blood test as the Australians say that it only lasts for 12 months. I would get it done as soon as as ideally it needs to be around 180 days before the pets fly. Anything else let us know. Bob
