Candygirl Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 DIAC say that the FS must meet the following criteria: "adequate accommodation and/or financial assistance as required to meet their relative's living needs during their first two years in Australia" OH's Uncle is very keen to sponsor us if we cannot get SS and I remember him saying that he would need to provide evidence of his income, which makes sense. How else would DIAC know that the sponsor had the means to support the family member etc. You could call DIAC at Australia House, London and ask them. They are very helpful. Good Luck.
