josephcom Posted August 30, 2012 Share Posted August 30, 2012 I sent my docs to EA to be recognize as Electrical Engineer. But for some reasons the outcome was Engineering Technologist. Now I'm going to send my docs to TRA to be recognized as Electrical Technician. My first question is: Will DIAC refer to EA to inquire about possible records of mine (or candidates in general) even if I apply with TRA assessment results? Basically this is because I've been working for 7 years of which the first 5 years was under the title "Technician" and the last 2 years have been as "Engineer". Also I worked under a kind of "on-job-training" program for the first two years (I was paid and working full-time though). My second question is: Is it possible that DIAC won't recognize my last two years of work experience as relevant just because I've been an Engineer not a Technician? My third question is: it possible that DIAC won't recognize my first two years of work experience as relevant just because I've been working under the title "on-job-training"?
