Guest Anonto101 Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Skill assessed 20/12/2011 State Sponsership approved on 22/02/2012 Application lodged on 05/04/2012 Police clearance met on 30/05/2012 Medical met on 05/06/2012 (hard copy provided by courier) ** Spouse medical met on 27/07/2012 (hard copy provided by courier, I had to resend 2 nd time , probably bec ause they misplaced it) How long will I have to wait to get visa. HR countries can take slightly longer for the visa to be granted due to internal and external checks. Hopefully it wont be much longer - there is a HR country thread running - if you see some of the others timelines might give you an idea how long it will take. My husband's kids medicals put a 5 week delay on my visa being assessed as there was a delay in them being sent off to DIAC for some reason. My case officer said she would review my application on 17th august and I'm still desperately waiting. Hopefully it wont be long now for either of us.
