Could it be that I don't believe a word of it? I bet Vancouver is up there with Melbourne. Another highly inflated and over rated city. I just wonder if the folk who come to these conclusions actually venture outside the Anglo speaking world? Zurich and Vienna being the two exceptions often cited. I can think of a good two dozen cities with far more to offer in culturtal,artistic,community,transport,(though I do give Melbourne marks on that) location, variety of things to do,travel options, and far more attractive.
