Polkey Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Hi all, My husband and I have PR and have since had a son who we have applied for PR visa also but from the UK. We have since moved to Aus with my son on a Tourist visa until his PR is issued in October. My question is.... As we applied in UK my son will have to be out of Aus when the visa is issued and then can return as a PR (short holiday required!!!) so.... does anyhow much notice you get for when the visa is actually issued to arrange travel out of the country??? calNgary Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Im not sure about the time frame sorry but wanted to let you know lots of people take a trip to NZ or Bali whilst the visa is granted. Have e-mailed our case worker but she's been on holiday from 20/7 until 20/08 and i've had no response from her alternative contacts!! grrrrr!
