Guest The Pom Queen
Are you looking for unfurnished? The cheaper properties will be further out from the CBD and to be honest you may struggle at the $250 mark Take a look at these but I bet they are run down inside so be careful, always view before getting excited. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-unit-vic-bayswater-408154359 http://www.realestate.com.au/property-unit-vic-bayswater-403933125 http://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-croydon-404587708
starlight7
You would probably be able to get a small unit for this in some areas- maybe Boronia or Bayswater, both of which have good train and bus services. Check out on realestate.com.au
rikyuu
in the east between ringwood and the city in that price range will be tricky. You're looking at the bottom end of the market, possibly a 1-2 bed unit or small apartment. It's unlikely that anyone on here will have somewhere like that vacant and waiting for a tenant so you are best looking somewhere like www.realeastate.com.au and www.domain.com.au
